You will make new friends and have lots of fun as we enjoy an international meal together in a nice venue near Tempe! After the dinner, we’re planning to go to a big park for fun and water games. Plus, learn more about our club and our upcoming events and activities. Transportation provided at 7:00pm from ASU Bookstore. Ride back included. Free English Conversation Classes with interactive Lessons

Tuesdays, 1:00pm • C3 Bldg. Free conversational English Class meets on Tuesday afternoons beginning September 11, across the street from the Gammage Auditorium in C-3 Building, address: 1034 S. Mill Ave. Open for all internationals interested in improving their English skills. Spouses welcome too. Wonderful American volunteers will be waiting for you. Contact Linda at 480-254-8431.

Thursdays, 7:30pm • MU It’s a free class that begins August 23 where students (and spouses) can come on Thursday nights at 7:30pm to practice English, with dedicated volunteers there each week to help you learn through interactive lessons. No provision for children. No reservations needed. Contact Joan at jstockmaster@cox.net if you have any questions.

International Business English Practice Group
Mondays, 1:00-2:30pm Free class begins August 12 in Room BAC119 (next to Starbucks) and allows you to have fun while practicing English in typical business situations through role plays, discussions, writing excercies, etc. Open for all internationals interested in improving their business English skills. Book Club for Women
Thursday Afternoons – 1:30 to 3:00 beginning August 16. Location: C3, 1034 S. Mill Avenue. Reading a book and comprehending what was read are uniquely different abilities. The primary goal of this club is to develop three skills: pronouncing words correctly, deciphering the meaning of words, and explaining the content of the paragraph. Visit the ISC Table during the day (located west of the Memorial Union) from 9:30am to 12:30pm beginning August 13, Monday-Thursday to get information, practice English, meet others and sign up for activities.
